Pelmets

Pelmets can be fitted on the face (outside) of the window or in the recess of the window. Pelmets are great for Tilt & Turn windows when you have no choice but to fit the blind on the face. Our pelmets are manufactured using natural wood covered in the same fabric as your blind or you can have the Pelmet covered in a contrasting fabric.

Sheer Fabrics

Still hanging on to your net curtains but would like modern roller blinds! Why not consider Sheer Fabrics, now available in whites, ivory and greys. Sheer Fabrics give you privacy during the day but allow you to see out (just like net curtains).

Blackout blind on the face (outside)

All roller blinds when fitted in the recess of the window have gaps at the sides and at the top that allow light through. if you would like to eliminate as much light as possible why not fit your blackout blind on the outside of the window (the face). By doing this you will be in near total darkness. You can also add a pelmet (see above) to really finish off the look.

Rescallop or Reverse & Rescallop

At Value Blinds we can update your existing roller blinds by rescalloping or changing them to a straight finish or if they are dirty but have enough material on them we can reverse (turn upside down) the fabric and then make a new scallop or straight finish. A cost effective way of upgrading your blinds.
